1. apt-get update

2. apt-get upgrade

3. apt-get install xorg gdm

4. apt-get install gnome-session gnome-menus gnome-panel metacity nautilus

 

or

 

1. apt-get install xorg gdm gnome-core

2. apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

 

 

/etc/init.d/gdm start

 

 

Using putty and xming

 

vi /etc/ssh/ssh_config

ForwardX11 yes

 

service ssh restart

XLaunch -> one window -> start no client -> 클립 보드 체크 -> Configuration 저장

창 띄워둔 상태

 

putty

connection > ssh > check Enable x11 forwarding

Input "localhost:0" in X display location
